Hey everyone –

The new school year just started last week which means that we’re starting our process all over again. About two weeks ago, we invited teachers to join us for a mixer to meet community sponsors and to learn about what our program is all about.

Today, we’re sending formal invites asking teachers to participate. Those who wish to be involved will then be joining us for an event at the school on September 16th where sponsors and teachers will get to know each other and the sponsors will be able to visit the school and see where the teachers work and serve our community every day.

We’ll be doing more with this blog throughout the school year so we invite you to subscribe to the RSS feed and stay involved!

Great news everyone! We’ve finished the sponsor-teacher pairings! Everyone involved should’ve received an email today with the news of who they are working with.

Hey everyone! It’s been awhile but we’ve been working hard at putting together our first event with teachers and sponsors. The magic date is finally set and invitations are going out today! Tuesday, February 2nd is the day it all starts. Sponsors and Teachers will join us for a brief orientation which will be followed by a mixer where they can meet one another. It should be a great event!

We’re very excited that tonight is the first sponsor meeting for the 2009-10 school year.
